Be Counted!

The Constitution requires that the U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States every 10 years. Why should you participate? Better infrastructure, more services, hospitals, job training centers, schools, senior centers, emergency services, and more.

Census forms will be delivered to every residence in the United States beginning in March 2010. The form consists of 10 short questions and a postage-paid envelope will be provided. All you have to do is fill out the form and mail it back. Any and all personal data that is provided is protected under federal law. If you don't mail your form back, you may receive a visit from a census taker who will ask you the 10 questions from the form.

Looking for a job? The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking thousands for temporary jobs, and bilingual speakers are especially encouraged to apply. Census takers earn competitive pay, have flexible hours and are able to work within their own community. To apply, please call the toll-free jobs hotline at 1-866-861-2010.

For more information please visit the 2010 Census website.
