All proceeds from the Breast Cancer Walk support The Foundation for Community and Family Health Breast “Health Detection Program” for our local community. This program provides no cost diagnostic breast care to women and men in the community who have no insurance or insurance that does not cover this vital care. Services includes; mammograms, breast exams, breast ultrasounds and necessary biopsies. Last year The Foundation funded over 32 breast biopsies ranging in cost of $2,000 - $3,000 for each. This walk has never been more important. With the need for this program growing, current grant funding is not covering the total cost of services provided. You can help make sure no woman gets turned away. Donations are accepted year round.
