The Corona Solar Program
Corona Solar Program Participants are Eligible to Receive Cash-Back through November 16, 2012
Launched August 2012, this Program has been developed to encourage the creation of a strong solar community within the City of Corona and Norco. Participants are able to go solar for $0 upfront with a monthly payment equal to or less than current electric bill rates. In order to create a critical mass, property owners who partake can receive substantial cash-back incentives.
To participate in the Corona Solar Program, you must sign a contract with Sullivan Solar Power by 11:59 p.m. on November 16, 2012. The Corona Solar Program is limited to 100 homeowners residing in the City of Corona and Norco. (So far 10 people have been officially signed up and about a dozen are in the process). There are three incentive milestones, and those who sign up first will receive the largest incentives. You can find out more information CoronaSolarProgram.org. WRCOG HERO Program
What is the WRCOG HERO Program? WRCOG is the Western Riverside Council of Governments and HERO stands for Home Energy Renovation Opportunity. HERO Financing is low cost, fixed interest rate financing for a broad range of energy and water efficient products and renewable energy systems. Homeowners repay the HERO Financing through their property tax bill. In order to be eligible to apply, your property must be located within one of the participating WRCOG jurisdictions. Corona Solar aids in the development of home designed solutions and wishes to help the “do it yourselfer” to evaluate solar energy options, and help navigate regulatory environments.
