Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way… to the Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration! The annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration will take place on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the South Lawn of City Hall [MAP]. This eagerly anticipated family tradition features live entertainment, the lighting of the holiday tree, activities for children, and the return of the popular snow play area to begin the holiday season in Corona.

The City of Corona, in conjunction with Lifestream, is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the City Hall Multipurpose Room. Donors will receive a $5 In-N-Out gift card (while supplies last).

The City of Corona Department of Water & Power (DWP) recently became aware of a scam that occurred within the city. Telephone scammers posing as utility workers have been threatening customers with immediate termination of service for non-payment, demanding credit card information. If the customer did not have a credit card, they asked the customer to use or obtain a PayPal card.
