On Thursday March 5th, 2015 at 11:53 pm, Corona Police were dispatched to a 911 call about a vehicle fire. Officer Michael Neff arrived and saw a white Ford Escape crashed into a tree and its engine fully engulfed in flames. Two local citizens were already attempting to assist the trapped driver. Officer Neff attempted to extinguish the fire with the help of the two citizens. Officer Neff, Citizen Kenneth Lee and an unidentified citizen had just enough time to rescue the driver from the burning car and carry her to safety before the vehicle became fully engulfed with flames.
Corona, CA- Darrell Talbert has announced the selection of his management team. Current Police Chief Michael Abel and current Administrative Services Director Kerry Eden have been appointed as Assistant City Managers effective April 17, coinciding with Talbert’s first official day as City Manager for the City of Corona. As part of continued cost containment measures, Abel and Eden will continue to oversee their respective departments as well as their newly appointed roles.

This eagerly anticipated family tradition features live entertainment, the lighting of the holiday tree, activities for children, and the return of the popular snow play area to begin the holiday season in Corona.
