New ADA Swings Installed at Three Corona Parks

Three new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant swings have been installed over the past several months at three Corona parks. Kellogg, Brentwood and Mountain Gate Parks all received a new universally accessible swing that will enable both young children and children with special needs to feel the thrill of a ride on a swing, while allowing their parents to easily and safely take them in and out of the swing via new rubberized surfacing also installed. City Hall to Host Blood Drive

Hopefully the recent earthquake and aftershocks have compelled you to think about earthquake readiness. The 5.1 quake affected dwelling units, power lines, water lines, roads, and some incurred injuries. About 70 Fullerton residents were evacuated from their homes and La Habra reported evacuating residents from several apartment complexes as a precaution. Continue reading…

Norco – Corona-Norco Unified School District’s graduating high school seniors have the unique opportunity to apply for one of the Nation’s esteemed scholarships this year!
