Citrus Splash Zone Will Remain Open to Oct. 20

The Maintenance Services Department is happy to announce that the Citrus Splash Zone will remain open until Oct. 20! The Citrus Splash Zone is open daily at Citrus Park, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Citrus Park is located at 1250 Santana Way in Corona [MAP], at the intersection of Rimpau Avenue and Taber Street. Citrus Park covers just over 20 acres, is ADA accessible and has many other amenities including a softball field, children's play equipment, restrooms, a picnic area and a drinking fountain. So beat the heat and spend a great day at the Citrus Splash Zone!

Did You Know…that the Corona Public Library never sits still?

Storytimes? Check. Books to check out? Yes. Reference assistance? Of course. Read to a dog? Absolutely…wait, what? More on that later. The Corona Public Library has been in existence in Corona since 1895. The classic services of a public library remain in place, but the overall services have grown and changed.

City of Corona Hosts a City Hall Open House

Corona City Hall is hosting an Open House Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the public is invited to come meet our departments, ask questions and learn more about the services and programs for Corona residents and businesses. Join us for some fun and Games! Explore the different departments and participate in our scavenger hunt. There will be plenty of activities for children and giveaways for all.

Corona Public Safety Day 2014

The Corona Fire and Police Department invite you to attend our annual Public Safety Day on Oct. 4, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us for a day of fun, education and excitement for the entire family at the Crossings at Corona Shopping Center in front of Kohl’s Store, at Cajalco Rd. and I-15. This free event is family friendly and will feature information booths of many public safety related topics.

Corona PD Prepares Teen Drivers with ‘Drive 4 Life’

The Traffic Bureau is proud to present its "Drive 4 Life" teen driver safety program Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. This program is designed for young drivers who have a license as well as those who are about to get one. Our goal is to provide a FREE service to our community by educating our young drivers and their parents in an effort to promote traffic safety on our roadways and to prevent fatal traffic collisions.

National Night Out 2014

The Corona Police Department invites you, your neighbors, and community groups to be a part of National Night Out (NNO), Tuesday, August 5,2014. NNO events are intended to heighten crime and drug awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. We want to send a message back to criminals letting them know that Corona neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Summer Concerts on the Green

Summer is now in session and so are the Concerts on the Green! The City’s popular concert series brings cool tunes to those hot summer nights so bring your friends and family, roll out a blanket, pop up that lawn chair, and enjoy the sunset over Corona listening to sweet harmonies by talented performers.

Many of us look forward to the warm summer months so we can pack up our camping gear, RVs, and toy haulers and head out to spend some time with the ones we love most in different scenery other than our 91 freeway commute.... Sneak Preview: Fourth of July Celebration

Wondering what to expect at the City’s Fourth of July Celebration? Here’s a sneak preview of the day’s events! The Parade begins at the intersection of Main and Ontario at 10 a.m. and moves north to Olive Avenue. Grab a seat early along Main Street near one of the three announcers’ booths along the route located at the intersections of Main/Pueblo, Main/Rancho, and Main/Francis to watch the more than 70 entries representing local sports teams, non-profits, and businesses celebrate Independence Day in our community.
