Time to Clean Out Your Garage!

Don’t throw hazardous household waste items away in your trash can, let the Riverside County Waste Management Department dispose of them for you.

The Riverside County Waste Management Department is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Event on Friday and Saturday October 19-20 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the City of Corona Corporation Yard [MAP].


Acceptable items to bring include:            Please do NOT bring items like:

  • Latex/oil base paint
  • Fluorescent tubes/bulbs
  • Pesticides
  • Cleaners
  • BBQ and camp size propane bottles
  • Aerosol cans
  • Antifreeze
  • Auto batteries
  • Garden chemicals
  • Pool chlorine
  • TVs and Computers
  • Electronic Waste
  • Sharps
  • Used oil and filters

  3. I have a old gas weed wacker. Can I bring it or do I put it in my trash bin or dispose of it another way?

  4. What about “AA”, “AAA” and “C” batteries. How are these disposed of? It lists electronic waste…does this include old extension cords? Thank you.
