Your Drinking Water: Take a Tour!

As a part of the City of Corona Department of Water and Power’s mission to deliver the best quality drinking water to our customers, current and factual information about your water supply is reported in an annual consumer confidence report each June. This year the new consumer confidence reports were mailed to our customers during the last week of June. To ensure safe drinking water for our customers, continuous water quality tests are performed along with the monitoring of our water supply for clarity and organic and inorganic materials. The consumer confidence report is a snapshot of the water quality from the previous year and details where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to the United States Environmental Protection Agency and California Department of Public Health standards.

As you read the consumer confidence report, have you wondered how the City of Corona’s Department of Water and Power delivers a safe, clean, and reliable water supply to all of our customers? Are you curious about the processes to treat the water supplied from the city’s multiple water sources? Are you interested in how reclaimed water is produced?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then attend one of our quarterly facility tours to find out the answers!

The Corona Department of Water & Power is proud to announce that new quarterly facility tours are being offered to our customers. The tours show how water is delivered to the tap and how reclaimed water is created. The Corona Department of Water and Power strives to find new and improved ways to deliver the best quality drinking water at an affordable price to our customers. Educating the community on how water travels from the source to their tap is accomplished through a behind the scenes look at this process.
